I really like most of Clarkshaws beers so it was a given that were going to include one of their beers in our 12 Beers of Christmas pack, but which one.
In the end we chose the Hellhound IPA – A fantastic example of a proper, British ale. This is what I imagine London Pride would have been like before mass production. Ian from Clarkshaws Brewery has managed to get a good balanaced ale which packs a bit of a punch whilst still being very drinkable. a Dangerous session ale at 5.5% but one you could easily spend a night with.
