Heineken UK has been crowned Britain’s Most Admired Company in the beverages and drinks sector, a notable recognition highlighting the brewer’s strong reputation across the industry.
The annual Britain’s Most Admired Companies study, now in its 36th year, is conducted by Echo Research in partnership with the London Stock Exchange. It’s the UK’s only peer-reviewed reputation survey, gathering insight from more than 350 senior business leaders, analysts, and commentators. In total, 260 companies are evaluated across 28 sectors, with scores based on 13 pillars of corporate reputation, such as product quality, strategic clarity, competitiveness, and environmental responsibility.
After earning a Silver award in 2024, Heineken UK has climbed to the top position this year, reflecting its consistent performance and focus on sustainable growth. Boudewijn Haarsma, Managing Director of Heineken UK, credited the win to the company’s people, its commitment to responsible brewing, and its ongoing investment in no‑ and low‑alcohol innovation.
“We’ll keep raising the bar – brewing great beer and cider, expanding choice in no‑ and low‑alcohol, and investing to help our customers grow, while running a responsible business that reduces its environmental impact and creates long‑term value.”

Echo Research’s Group CEO, Sandra Macleod, described the brewer’s first sector gold as a “significant achievement,” noting that it signals deepening confidence in Heineken UK among its peers.
This recognition underscores Heineken UK’s strong leadership within the drinks industry, not only as a brewer of iconic brands but also as a company championing environmental responsibility and long-term value creation.
