YOUR FEEDBACK HELPS US EXPLORE
Love Beer's next stage
What are you becoming part of?
From an online keg retailer to a broader drinks business for homes, businesses, venues and events. The next chapter is a technology-led, multi-vendor drinks marketplace.
The traditional model
Every product. Every bit of stock.
Love Beer buys stock
Warehouses it
Sells it
Fulfils the order
The marketplace model
One place to shop. A whole world of suppliers.
Customer shops at Love Beer
Love Beer connects the order
Approved supplier fulfils it
Potentially a much wider range, without Love Beer needing to buy and warehouse every product itself.
01
The marketplace
Approved breweries, wholesalers and specialist vendors selling through Love Beer.
02
The Seller Centre
Technology for suppliers to manage products, stock, pricing, orders, fulfilment, customer communication and earnings.
03
More products
A considerably wider catalogue, without having to warehouse every item ourselves.
04
More customers
Building on Love Beer's ecommerce, brand, organic search and customer acquisition capabilities.
05
New services
Bar hire, equipment, draught installation and services alongside the drinks customers already love.
06
Automation
Making onboarding, orders, payments and marketplace administration increasingly scalable.
Love Beer brings the customers, brand, ecommerce, technology, payments infrastructure, marketing and marketplace tools.
Which brings more suppliers into the marketplace — and starts the next round.
Built with you. Shared with you.
Why our customers?
You buy from Love Beer. Recommend us. Tell us which products you'd like. Introduce us to venues and suppliers. You help the business grow.
As we build the next stage, we want some of those people to have the opportunity to own part of it. People who discover breweries with us, visit them with us, tell their friends — and share in the journey.
The funds are intended to support the next stage of Love Beer. The route by which the community company invests in the trading business will be explained in the final legal structure and investment documentation.
What if Love Beer fails?
You could lose some or all of the money invested. Perks and potential future returns do not remove that risk.
What will Love Beer use the investment for?
Marketplace technology, Seller Centre development, supplier acquisition, ecommerce growth, marketing, automation, new product categories and related services such as bar hire, equipment and draught-system services.
Is this a long-term investment?
Yes. Private-company shares can be illiquid and should be viewed as a long-term investment. You may not be able to sell them when you want to.
Could my shares increase in value?
Potentially, but there is no guarantee. Their value can rise or fall. You could lose some or all of the money you invest. No financial return is promised.
Why are you offering ownership to customers?
Because Love Beer wants part of its next stage to be owned by the people who buy from it, recommend it, discover breweries through it and help shape its community.
Am I actually buying shares?
In the proposed campaign, yes: you would buy shares in a dedicated community company, which would own 10% of Love Beer.
Will I receive dividends?
There are no guaranteed dividends. Any future dividend would depend on performance, available profits, shareholder rights and decisions made at the appropriate time.
What is the proposed early investment offer?
We want our customers to become owners — that’s why our proposed early investment offer gives you £100 in Love Beer website credit when you invest £100 or more before 15 October 2026. Website credit only, not cash or repayment of your investment. Your capital remains at risk.
Do I personally own 10% of Love Beer?
No. The community company would own 10% of Love Beer. Investors would collectively own 100% of that company. Your own shareholding depends on the number of shares you purchase.
Can I sell my shares?
This is a proposed private-company investment. There is no ordinary public market for these shares, so finding a buyer may be difficult or impossible. Transfers would be governed by the final shareholder documents.
How much does one share cost?
The proposed price is £1 per share.
What happens if Love Beer is sold?
Any outcome would depend on the legal rights attached to the community company’s stake and the terms of the transaction. There is no promised payout or particular return.
What is the minimum investment?
£50, representing 50 shares at the proposed share price.
Do I get voting rights?
Exact legal voting rights will be set out in the final shareholder documents. Love Beer also intends to involve owners through updates, feedback, surveys, tastings, product panels and selected community decisions. These activities do not give owners day-to-day operational control.
How much are you raising?
The proposed community raise is £100,000.
What does owner cost-price access mean?
Selected eligible products offered to qualifying owners at or around Love Beer’s acquisition cost. Availability, eligible products, reasonable personal-use limits and Owners Club terms apply. This is not intended for commercial resale. Final terms will explain delivery, VAT and any other charges.
How many shares are available?
100,000 shares at £1 each, subject to the final investment documentation.
What are the quarterly brewery taster packs?
Curated selections from Love Beer and participating breweries for eligible ownership levels. Four packs a year are proposed. Contents vary and will be subject to eligibility, availability and the final Owners Club terms.
Why is there a £250 Brewery Explorer level?
Ownership should be about more than a certificate. Eligible Brewery Explorers would enjoy an annual brewery tour or experience for two, alongside the lower-level benefits, bringing them closer to the people behind the beer.
What does the brewery experience include?
Depending on the participating brewery, experiences may include a tour, meet-the-brewer session, guided tasting, behind-the-scenes access or a supplier visit. Exact inclusions, locations, dates and booking conditions will be confirmed in the Owners Club terms.
What happens when I buy more shares?
Your shareholding in the community company increases with the number of shares purchased. Higher ownership levels also unlock additional proposed Owners Club benefits. All levels include the benefits of the levels below.
Are the perks guaranteed forever?
No. These are proposed benefits, subject to eligibility, availability and the final Owners Club terms. Benefits may evolve as the business develops.
LOVE BEER OWNERS
10% of Love Beer. Owned by our community.
We're planning a £100,000 community raise to build the next stage of Love Beer. Shares would be £1 each. Ownership would start from £50.
